Born and raised in the then Communist Czechoslovakia. Attended several art after-school programs. Unable to study at Academy of Fine Arts due to opposing political affiliations. Emigrated in 1987 to France, and then to the United States. Made his living with architecture and 3D visualization. Lives happily with loving wife and wonderful son in rural Massachusetts, where he has his studio.
